Electors Approve Boulder Junction Town Upgrade

Electors in Boulder Junction have approved a 2.3 million dollar upgrade to the town's community center and library. The vote Thursday night was 150 yes, 110 no.
A town committee last January began work on another referendum proposal after voters turned down a larger recommendation in 2009.
The project includes 14,000 square feet with an expanded library, town office and police headquarters, a kitchen with meeting rooms.
The vote follows two informational meetings held recently.
