DRI Hires Director-Event Coming In February

Maggie Steffen had the "interim" Director's title removed and now has the job full-time. A Rhinelander native, Steffen took the interim role after Sue Bessert resigned.
One of the first events she will direct is the sixth-annual "Taste of Chocolate" coming in early February.....
"....there's going to be 38 participating businesses this time. You just have to go to downtown Rhinelander Friday night, February 8, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. For a $5 ticket you get to taste chocolate from all those businesses as well as being entered into a (giveaway) for a Printpak $1,000 'Golden Ticket'...."
The winner will have a thousand dollars worth of "downtown bucks". She says the goal is more visibility downtown..
"....to maybe go into a restaurant, or a business or a pub...some place your haven't visited before to see what we have to offer. That's the whole goal, but it's also a fun thing..."
She says some businesses will have live entertainment. She says businesses are offering tickets for Taste of Chocolate.
