Gas Prices Rising Here

Greg Laskoski from the website Gasbuddy.com says prices have risen sharply after falling for several weeks following the holidays...
"....in the past week the national average has gone up 9 cents a gallon and in Wisconsin the state average has gone up more than 14 cents a gallon over the same period. The Wisconsin state average is $3.39 a gallon..."
Northwoods gas prices continue to be 5 to 7 cents per gallon higher than that statewide price.
Laskoski says several factors are involved....
"....gasoline inventories are down slightly and we're also watching crude oil which has gone up to almost $98 a barrel. It's selling at a level we haven't seen since May of 2012..."
Laskoski says newspaper reports out the Middle East say tensions are high between Syria and Israel, fueling speculation of higher crude prices.
