One of the well-known businesses in downtown Three Lakes was destroyed by fire Wednesday afternoon.
Fire Departments from Three Lakes, Eagle River and Sugar Camp were called to the 3 Lakes Diner on Superior Street.
Three Lakes Fire Department officials told WJFW TV that no one was inside the building at the time of the blaze and the cause at this time is unknown. The restaurant had closed for the day after lunch.
When firefighters arrived the fire was already well established.According to WJFW TV, the last employee had left just before 3:30 p.m.
The building is reported to be a total loss.
