A board member of Northwoods United Way is encouraging qualifying agencies in Forest county to contact the Northwoods United Way for funding this spring.

"....agencies in Forest county will once again have the opportunity to apply for funding in the spring. If they want information on applying for funding they should contact the Executive Director, Nancy Sattler, at 715-369-0440...."
Jameson joined the board last June. She says since 1977, the Northwoods United Way has had a charter to include Forest, Vilas and Oneida county agencies.
She's hoping to get more of a presence on the board for Forest county... The United Way campaign has a goal of $168,000 and Jameson says they've reached 70 percent of that goal. Jamerson says money raised in the communities will stay in the community. Northwoods United Way has an office in Rhinelander or they are online at northwoodsunitedway.org
