Warm For Winter Offers Free Winter Clothing

Wikimedia Commons

The monthly 'Warm For Winter' distribution happens this Saturday in Rhinelander and a coordinator says everyone is welcome to get needed winter clothing for free.

A coordinator for the monthly event is Jan Leschke of Rhinelander...

"...we have clothes for everyone in the whole family, all sizes. from babies up to adults. It's free. All you have to do is bring a bag to bring your items in and go shopping...."

Warm for Winter distributes warm clothing, blankets, sweaters, boots, hats, scarves, mittens and gloves. The distribution is held the last Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. until noon through February at Friendly Village on Boyce Drive in Rhinelander.

Leschke says if you can't make the date, other arrangements can be made...

"....and if anyone is in need of things other than those dates, they can give me a call and get stuff if there's an emergency of some kind...."

Leschke says you can call her at 715-362-7157.
