We've lived for many years in Chicago and Milwaukee, yet never found a radio station that came close to providing the kind of fresh and unique programming we enjoy every day on WXPR. Now full-time residents here, we've come to know many friendly and caring people in the Northwoods. WXPR brings us together as not only neighbors, but family. Thanks for being a central part of the lives of all of us, your loyal family of listeners.

Listening to WXPR over the internet in Maryland so I could hear my Dad's edition of "Your Favorites" grew into my tuning in every day so I could hear those great Wisconsin accents and local information about my cherished Northwoods. WXPR began as my home town link - the station I turned on to hear familiar voices and locally focused programming. Now that I've moved to the area, it is truly my mirror on the Northwoods, and all of those familiar voices feel like family. It's my only radio station.

As an elderly codger, I have a mortal fear of losing my ability to learn. I want to be cognizant of what going on! WXPR helps me in this respect. In-depth news reporting that is fair pleases me a lot and helps me stay current on national as well as local levels. Second - music, music, music! The broad range of music available on WXPR is pleasant and, in spite of myself, enlightening. Thank heavens for such a full-bodied public resource as WXPR!
