The League of Women Voters of the Northwoods is sponsoring and the Boulder Junction Public Library is hosting a Candidate Forum to be held on Tuesday, March 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Boulder Junction Community Center. Doors will open at 5:30 pm. The Supervisor and Town Clerk/Treasurer candidates for the April 2nd Spring Election are: Town Supervisor: Laura Bertch, James Galloway, Denny McGann, and Charlie Spencer; and Town Clerk/Treasurer: Dan Driscoll and Kendra Moraczewski. The Candidate Forum will provide the public with an opportunity to see, hear, and question the candidates. The moderator for the evening will be Dorothy Skye, President of the League of Women Voters of the Northwoods. Citizens are encouraged to attend and participate in this nonpartisan event. Beginning at 5:30 pm, those who attend can submit their questions for the candidates. Those who attend may also submit questions on behalf of someone who cannot attend. All candidates will also provide opening and closing statements as part of the Forum. The spring election will be held on Tuesday, April 2, with the polls open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Boulder Junction Community Center. The League of Women Voters of the Northwoods (LWVNOW) currently encompasses the northern Wisconsin counties of Florence, Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Oneida, and Vilas. The Northwoods League belongs to the State and National League of Women Voters.
