An Illinois man said by authorities to be missing in the Northwoods was found safe Thursday.
The Department of Justice reports 71 year old John Niesman of Homer Glen, Illinois was found safe near Watersmeet, Michigan. Niesman is also known as "Wolverine Jack". Earlier this week, he was seen at a motel in Land O' Lakes, but hadn't been seen for a few days and a missing person alert was issued.
