(Washington, DC) -- A bill to remove gray wolves from the endangered species list has cleared a House committee and is headed for a vote.
Wisconsin Congressman Sean Duffy says his "Manage Our Wolves Act" has bipartisan support.
Management would be turned over to the states. Duffy says Wednesday's 19-to-15 vote in the House Natural Resources Committee moves Wisconsin farmers "one step closer to having the legal means to defend their livestock from gray wolves."
