WJFW TV is reporting a judge says there’s enough evidence to continue the case against a Birnamwood man accused of flying 133 pounds of marijuana to Antigo.

36-year-old Landon Now is accused of one felony. Investigators allege Now worked with another defendant to fly the pot from California to Antigo in May, 2017.

A state Justice Department investigator said Thursday in Langlade County Circuit Court that it wasn’t reasonable to think Now didn’t know about the marijuana in three duffel bags on the plane. Now’s attorney said he didn’t know what was in the bags.

Judge John Rhode moved the case forward so Now will enter a plea on February 4.
