Due to the recent warm temperatures and rain, Oneida county reports snowmobile trail conditions are in rough early season condition.

Some trail segments are closed due to unsafe conditions. All lake trails remain closed and are considered unsafe until they have been clearly marked by a local snowmobile club.

The Oneida County Forestry, Land, & Recreation Department requests riders stay on clearly marked trails. For more detailed information on Oneida County Snowmobile trail riding opportunities, contact the local snowmobile club in the area that you would like to ride.

Across the Northwoods, trails remain open, some in better condition than others. Most are in fair to good condition. Langlade county trails are closed, according to the Travel Wisconsin Snow Report. Trails in the Park Falls and Phillips areas remain open but are said to be in poor condition. In the Tomahawk area, trails are open and in fair condition.
