Meet Theodore Kryder: Crandon's New Superintendent

Jill Zagar

Three of four schools in Forest County are starting the school year with a new Superintendent. As the last story of a three part series, Jill Zagar reports Crandon School District welcomes Theodore Kryder as their new administrator. Kryder is from the Albany School District, near the Illinois border. He says he’s pleased with what the Crandon District and staff has to offer.

“I am loving the staff.  You just saw what they started the school year with.  And like I said, this doesn’t happen in a lot of schools,  I’ve been in a few and they don’t start, right now they’re passing out pencils and giving syllabus’s  and telling kids what they’re class schedule is .”

Kryder says he appreciates the relationship the staff builds with the students. He says their support and energy makes the learning environment for the kids enjoyable.
