The Oneida County Forestry, Land and Outdoor Recreation reports all Rhinelander and Three Lakes trails are set to open the morning of January 8. However, North Sugar Camp Trail #13 between intersections 122 to 127 will not be open. All lake trails in Oneida County remain closed, but the Three Lakes Town Board is allowing snowmobiles to use town roads until January 19 or until lakes can be marked.
Trail 5 from the Lincoln/Oneida County Line to the intersection of 5 and 8 will stay closed. Sections of trail 5, 5A and 5B of the Minocqua Forest Riders Area will also remain closed. For more information call the Oneida County Forestry, Land and Outdoor Recreation Department 715-369-6140.
