U.P. Comes Together to Celebrate Opening of Iron Belle Trail

On October 24th, the Mayors of Ironwood and Bessemer cut the ribbon to open the new section of the Iron Belle Trail which is a non-motorized trail that connects Ironwood and Bessemer, Michigan

The opening ceremony for the Iron Belle Trail happened early last week. The trail has been in the planning stages for years and ran from Hurley to Ironwood, Michigan. Now, the trail connects Ironwood and Bessemer, Michigan. WXPR volunteer Monie Shackleford was at the ribbon cutting ceremony.
