WXPR Station Manager Pete Rondello will be leaving at the end of April.
He will be returning to real estate brokerage after being offered a position with Redman Realty Group in Minocqua.
Rondello praised WXPR staff for the excellent work that they've accomplished in the two-plus years he managed the station. He cites increased local programming and community outreach, a stronger financial position, and growth in membership.
Pete also recognized the 111 volunteers that share their time, talents and treasure with the station, creating the unique and popular local radio station. Volunteers also serve on the Board of Directors and Community Advisory Board.
Rondello also shared appreciation for the generosity of the members, donors and business underwriters that support WXPR for the past 34 years.
Pete Rondello has 18 years broadcast experience and began work at WXPR in January of 2015.
