Construction of a new natural and organic foods store in Merrill is expected to start in the next few weeks.
The city is helping move the project along with about 200-thousand dollars in incentive funding. Backers say the new Golden Harvest store will mean 50 new jobs to the area.
The store is planned to be similar to the Golden Harvest operation doing business in Rhinelander. The store is expected to open early next year.
