Crandon School District To Close Friday For Deep Cleaning

Crandon School District Facebook

The Crandon School District will close Friday, March 13, to deep clean and disinfect the school.  A post on the district’s website says the Crandon School District is trying to be proactive.  The decision came after recent news about Wisconsin Universities closing campuses and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction releasing information about precautionary measures.  Crandon School District leaders also looked at their own recent attendance data.

They’ll be using a Clorox 360 machine to help disinfect the school.  District leaders say the cleaning agent has been shown to be effective on coronavirus as well as other viruses and bacteria. The custodial staff will begin this process as soon as students and staff leave at noon Thursday, March 12.

District leaders ask people to continue to practice washing hands and staying home when you are sick, to help contain the spread of any illnesses.
