The snowmobile season in Vilas County will be coming to an end.
The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office announced in a Facebook post that as of Friday, March 13, Vilas County trails will be closed.
A string of warmer days and sunshine have been melting snow quickly in the Northwoods. Earlier this week, Oneida County closed down its snowmobile trails as well.
