Another 7,000-Plus Day for New COVID-19 Cases in Wisconsin

Wisconsin is seeing another day of 7,000-plus COVID-19 cases.

The Department of Health Services is reporting 7,048 new cases.

It’s also reporting 62 more deaths and 277 more hospitalization.

Pepin County is reporting its first death due to COVID.

That means all 72 counties in Wisconsin have had at least one person die because of the virus.

Here’s a breakdown of where local counties stand as of Wednesday:

Forest County has had 613 cases since the start of the pandemic. 11 people have died.

Iron County, Wisconsin has 281 cases and 5 deaths.

Langlade County has had 1,276 cases and 19 deaths.

Lincoln County is up to 1,366 cases and 14 deaths.

7,323 people have tested positive in Marathon County. 87 people have died.

Oneida County has had 1,684 cases and 19 deaths.

Vilas County is up to 882 cases and 8 deaths.

In the Upper Peninsula, Gogebic County has 427 cases and 9 deaths.

Iron County, Michigan has 549 cases and 25 deaths.

These numbers are from state health departments and may vary slightly from county health departments due to delays in reporting.
