An arrest in a sexual assault case near Rhinelander.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Department reports the arrest of 21 year old Isaiah Moren of Rhinelander. June 10, deputies were called after an elderly woman was physically and sexually assaulted.
The State Crime Lab processed DNA samples and allegedly identified the suspect as Moren.
He has been in the Oneida County Jail on a probation hold. Likely charges include Burglary, Battery to an Elderly Person, First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, First Degree Sexual Assault, and Strangulation. The decision on charges will be determined by the Oneida County District Attorney’s Office.
