Brewster Leaves UW-Extension To Head Demmer Library

Oneida County UW-Extension

The leader of the Oneida County UW-Extension office is leaving that position to become the head of the E.U. Demmer Library in Three Lakes.

Erica Brewster informed county supervisors this week she is resigning to take the job in Three Lakes. Brewster is the Extension department head and also is the Family Living Agent.

President of the library Board of Trustees, Vicki Reuling made the announcement...

"....the board is thrilled to announce the hiring of Erica Brewster as the new Director the library in Three Lakes. We're just thrilled we have somebody of Erica's caliber and education to carry the Demmer Library into the future..."

Brewster lives in Three Lakes.  Reuling says current Director Janet Dixon is retiring. She says Brewster will begin at the Demmer Library August 4 and will have time with Dixon to before Dixon retires.

Brewster became Extension leader after the departure of Dan Kuzlik in 2012.

Two other libraries in the region are in the process of hiring new directors. The Walter E. Olson library in Eagle River and the Rhinelander District Library are in the hiring process.
