Raise your steins and say Prost because Oktoberfest is returning to the northwoods! On Saturday, September 15 from 11 am – 4 pm community members, families and tourists can experience Oktoberfest in all its beer foam and schwein roast glory on Superior Street in downtown Three Lakes.
Once again, the event will offer a variety of food, entertainment, and vendors. Chefs from the Black Forest will be roasting a pig, serving pulled pork sandwiches alongside freshly grilled bratwurst, Bavarian pretzels, sauerkraut and – of course – plenty of German beer available in locally-crafted collector steins! A variety of vendors will have baked goods, crafted wares, and more. Local businesses will welcome guests with open doors, and live music, dance, and arts demonstrations will keep attendees entertained all afternoon!
Admission is free and the fest will be held rain or shine. The event is hosted by Black Forest Pub & Grille and co-sponsored by WXPR radio, with proceeds from the vendor fees supporting the Three Lakes Parent Teacher Organization.
