CNNF Opening Temporary, Full-TimeSummer Jobs For 2019

The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest is planning for 2019 and they've opened up a number of temporary, full-time positions for next summer.

Forest spokesperson Hilary Markin says they types of openings vary....

"...We have jobs for plants and invasive species work, which is called a biological science technician, a forest technician in the Timber/Silvaculture department, a recreation Forestry Technician and a Biological Science Technician in Fish and Wildlife. We also have customer service positions that work in our offices, interacting with the public, helping them get permits, directing them to campsites, those types of things...."

The start date, length of season and number of positions hired depend on the budget and individual needs. Seasonal housing is possible in some locations. Markin says there are also permanent full-time positions available.
