COVID Exposure Scare at Haunted House

Lincoln County Health Department Facebook

Those who visited a haunted house in Merrill last weekend may have been exposed to COVID-19.  The Lincoln County Health Department reports a COVID-19 exposure at the Haunted Sawmill in Merrill.

People who have tested positive for COVID-19 were at the event during a time they were contagious and possibly spreading the virus.  The days involved were Friday, October 23, 6 p.m. until close and Saturday, October 24, 4 p.m. until close.

Those who feel they may have been exposed are asked to monitor for symptoms and stay home as much as possible for 14 days after the last date you were exposed. Anyone who develops symptoms should contact their healthcare provider about being tested.
