A fire Saturday evening destroyed a home and garage in Lac du Flambeau.
The Vilas County Sheriff's Department reports the emergency call came in at 6:20 p.m.
The fire was at 731 Cloud Street in the Town of Lac du Flambeau.
When responders arrived, the home and garage were fully engulfed and are a total loss. T
he owners were not at home at the time of the fire. Investigators don't believe the fire was suspicious.
Responding to the scene was the Lac Du Flambeau Fire Department, Minocqua Fire Department, Woodruff Fire Department, Lac Du Flambeau Ambulance, Lac Du Flambeau Police Department, and the Vilas County Sheriff’s Department.
