Police arrested a Forest County man they say was in possession of child pornography.
State and local law enforcement arrested Kristopher Trychzak, 33, Wednesday.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation began looking into Trychzak after it got information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. That organization found evidence of a person communicating online about sexually assaulting children. There were photographs which contained child sexual assault material included in the conversation.
Investigators with Forest County Sheriff’s Office and the Division of Criminal Investigation executed a search warrant at Trychzak’s home in Wabeno on Wednesday. Police arrested him after interviews and examining electronic devices found in the home.
Tryczak is being held in the Forest County Jail on two counts of felony possession of child pornography.
Police are still investigating.
