Goodwill NCW Offering Vouchers To Agencies For Back-To-School

Goodwill Industries of NCW

Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin is providing vouchers to families who have back-to-school needs.

Goodwill serves 35 counties in north central Wisconsin with a store in Rhinelander.

Goodwill vice-president Jennie Moore tells us more about the program...

"Every year Goodwill Industries sends out around 30,000 gift cards to individual agencies throughout our community. This could include homeless shelters, churches colleges, school districts, organizations like the Salvation Army to make sure that individuals who are in need or experience and emergency in their lives, that they're able to use those cards, come into our store and purchase what they need in our store..."

$25 vouchers will be given to clients, allowing them to select items from Goodwill retail stores and training centers. Moore says clothes, shoes and socks are among the most sought after items. She says the need is always great, but with COVID-19 the need is even more pronounced.

For organizations looking to partner with Goodwill NCW for back-to-school vouchers and the GoodNeighbor program, contact the main Menasha campus of Goodwill Industries.(November Behm at nbehm@goodwillncw.org.)
