Attendance was strong Wednesday as Rhinelander hosted a Job Fair.

"....there are some people that stop by and show great interest in that particular position...."

Serena Adler from Forward Service Corporation works with a program focusing on young people seeking jobs...

"....and it focuses on youth 14-21, We work with them to become employable, help them fill out applications and resumes and get them into the workforce. That is why we are here today...."

Two job applicants were looking for work from different perspectives. The first was a recent nursing graduate and the second applicant just finished coursework at Nicolet College...

"....I saw that Aspirus was here, so I came to talk to them and see what they had to offer. Actually I'm just finishing school...and I'm actively looking to get employed either with Aspirus or one of the local health care companies...(second person)...I'm looking for something in the industrial field. I have a lot of experience there but jobs are hard to come by. I've been unemployed for about a year...."

The Job Fair is co-sponsored by Nicolet Area Technical College, Northern Advantage Job Center and the North Central Wisconsin Workforce Development Board.
