The Rhinelander Police Department is asking the public's help in locating a suspect in motor vehicle thefts in Chippewa county who is thought to be in the area.
Police Chief Michael Steffes says 38 year old Eric T. Hall is being sought as a person of interest by Chippewa county authorities. Eric Hall was released from prison 10 days ago.
Steffes says an eyewitness reported to Chippewa county authorities seeing Hall in the area of Eisenhower Parkway on Rhinelander's east side. Steffes says Hall is possibly headed to the Eagle River area where he has a child with a woman in the area.
Hall is said to be operating a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado...tan color with pink hunting stickers in the rear window.
Steffes says his department has no information Hall remains in the Rhinelander area.
