Rhinelander Chamber Planning For Future Growth

Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber of Commerce is noting Rhinelander Chamber Month with a renewed emphasis on marketing and getting new members.

Chamber Executive Director Lauren Sackett told the common council meeting recently they are moving forward with plans..

"We identified two priorities that will be critical to our future success. We will be working over the next several years to increase our collective impact to the and as an organization and redefine what it means to be a chamber member. We will be working to be a leader at the roots of community development...."

Sackett says they will continue to provide events in the community and promote businesses and be an informational hub to the community. She says their new strategic plan will be posted to the website in the next couple of weeks. She says they have started the "We Belong" campaign. When members take a photo with the campaign flyer and share it to their social media pages they will be entered into winning a $50 Chamber Buck Check...

"...We're also doing a membership campaign so new businesses that join in the month of July will be entered into winning a prize package. If current members help recruit a new business, they will be entered into a drawing for a one year free membership up to a $300 value..."

Sackett also said they're also working to begin the next session of Leadership Oneida County, where local residents join a 9-month program to help them know the county and help put themselves into a leadership role.
