Two persons are dead, two others missing following a large fire Wednesday in downtown Ironwood.
Local, state and federal authorities are investigating the fire.
The Duluth News Tribune reports the fire is believed to be suspicious. The Ironwood Public Safety Department reported Thursday that investigators recovered a body from inside the burned building at 102 E. Aurora St. Another person who was pulled from the building during the firefighting effort early Wednesday also died.The names of the victims have not been released.
To determine the identity of the body recovered from the wreckage an autopsy is planned.
Authorities say three people were rescued from second- and third-floor windows by first responders.
Fire crews were on the scene most of the day.
