A 30-year-old woman is dead and one man is behind bars after an early Sunday morning shooting incident in Wausau.
Police say Umberto Lo of Wausau is suspected of killing the unidentified woman sometime after midnight on Sunday.
Police received a call about an altercation in a home at around 2:30 that morning, and when they arrived, they found the woman unresponsive.
Lo was arrested on site and will have a probable cause hearing Monday afternoon for charges of first-degree homicide and bail jumping.
Officers say the investigation remains active, and no further information will be released at this time.
The deceased woman has not been named, pending family notification.
