Lara Trump, the president's daughter-in-law, stopped in Rib Mountain on Monday for a "Keep America Great" event.
During the rally and in a one-on-one interview with WAOW Television, Lara Trump emphasized the importance of this election. She said, "As we look into this election cycle right now in 2020, it's all on the line."
She also recognizes the importance of the Badger State in the election.
"Wisconsin is very important, we obviously won by a narrow margin," she said.
And while Wisconsin is a priority, she said the reelection campaign is focusing on states it didn't win in 2016.
"When we're looking at 2020, it's different because we have the money to invest in places that maybe we didn't win in 2016, but were really close to winning. We fee like if we had just a little more time and a little more money the president could have won," Lara Trump said.
She said those states include Nevada, Colorado, New Hampshire and Maine.
Meanwhile, the Democratic Party of Marathon county hopeful the democratic candidates will also make Wisconsin a priority in 2020.
"All of them will show. I mean after all, we do have the convention in Milwaukee. So everybody will be here for that for sure," said the Chair of the Democratic Party of Marathon County Nancy Stencil.
President Trump will hold a rally in Milwaukee on Tuesday night around the same time the remaining democratic candidates are set to face off in a debate in Iowa.
