WXPR Gets Rhinelander Community Foundation Grant To Promote Music

The Rhinelander Community Foundation gifts non-profit organizations to promote the community and WXPR was one of the award winners Tuesday.

This gift allows us to enhance our concert series to continue to bring high-quality live concert music to a venue that's accessible and affordable to people in the community. Our concerts are a gathering place for people who might not otherwise cross paths. These shared music experiences create a true sense of community and belonging..."

Rhinelander Community Foundation Board member Gina Heck told WJFW that qualified organizations were able to apply for grants for their innovative projects that will benefit the Rhinelander community. Among the organizations receiving gifts were Project North, Rhinelander Area Food Pantry, and Lights of the Northwoods.
