A passenger on a motorcycle has died in a Forest county crash and the driver critically injured.
The Sheriff's Department reports the motorcycle driven by a 24 year old Appleton man went out of control on state Highway 55 north of Argonne. The motorcycle left the highway and struck a tree. The driver and a 20 year old woman who was a passenger were transported to a Marshfield hospital by helicopter where the woman later died.
No other information, including the names of those involved in the crash, have been released by Forest county officials.
