An open meetings complaint filed by former Rhinelander City Administrator Kristina Aschenbrenner has been dismissed.

In a three-page response to Aschenbrenner's complaint, Oneida County District Attorney Michael Schiek said no charges would be filed against Rhinelander city council members who dismissed her in late August.

Aschenbrenner alleged improper notice was given for actions taken surrounding a closed session the night she was notified of her termination. She filed an open meetings law complaint last month.

Schiek disagreed that the council's actions were improper, citing a case in Wisconsin law concerning a personnel matter from the city of Neillsville.

Still pending is an investigation of two city council members who released information out of that same session that was not authorized by the majority of the council, in what is to alleged to be a violation of state law.
