Cassian Gets BCPL Loan For Patrol Truck

Town of Cassian

The Town of Cassian in Oneida County has received money to purchase new equipment.

The Board of Commissioners of Public Lands announced the town will receive almost $128,000 to purchase a patrol truck.

The Board operates on program revenue, without taxpayer money, and distributes 96 cents of every interest dollar earned on BCPL state Trust Fund investments to Wisconsin's public school libraries.

Besides supporting public school libraries, the board makes loans to local governments, such as the one Cassian has received.
