Update: Homicide Charges Likely In Three Lakes Fatal Crash

The driver of a vehicle that crashed in Three Lakes early Sunday is likely facing a homicide charge.

Three Lakes Police Chief Scott Lea  says charges of operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or other drug and homicide by Intoxicated use of a motor vehicle have been forwarded to the Oneida County District Attorney’s Office on driver Eric C. Labahn. His address has been listed as Illinois.

A passenger in the Labahn vehicle, 23-year-old Austin L. Lockwood died in the crash along   Military Road.

Authorities say Lockwoods vehicle left the road after 1:00 a.m. Sunday. Lockwood was pronounced dead at the scene while the 21- year-old Labahn was taken to a local hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
