Northland Pines Students Expelled For Drug Possession

Two Northland Pines School District students were expelled Tuesday by the school board over prescription medications according to district administrtor Scott Foster. “These were both male 11th graders,” Foster said. “Both will be continuing their education under different circumstances.

The board set some specific criterion for them to follow and they could attend classes next year provided the meet all the specifications the board set; if they did both could graduate with their class.”

Foster said administration found out about this by reports from other students. The district is offering counseling if they want it and both have been referred to juvenile authorities.
