Governor Evers this week let stand a Walker administration decision on what are known as wedding barns.

The state allows groups like those having a wedding or get together to buy liquor and give it away at an event, without having to go through the licensing and inspection process all liquor-selling establishments are required to do.

State Representative Rob Swearingen of Rhinelander owns a bar and restaurant and was the past President of the Wisconsin Tavern League.
