The name of the person who died early Sunday in St. Germain has been released.
Killed in the one-vehicle crash was 49-year-old Scott Weber of Sayner.
The Vilas County Sheriff's Department says Weber's vehicle hit a tree at the intersection of STH 155 and Sixteen Road in the town of St. Germain. The vehicle crossed into the southbound lane and struck a tree. No one else was in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Emergency units from several agencies responded.
