A lightning strike is believed to be the cause of a house fire in Vilas County Thursday.
The Vilas County Sheriff’s Department received a 9-1-1 call of a fully engulfed house at 9023 North Star Road in Winchester Township. The caller reported all people and animals were out of the house. No injuries were reported.
