The driver of a stolen car died in a crash near Merrill Wednesday evening.
Two Lincoln County police officers were chasing the car down a rural road when the driver went off the street.
The driver was the only person in the car and did not survive the accident.
The police officers were not hurt.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating the crash.
