Saturday is the final event sponsored by Oneida county agencies concerning the upcoming advisory vote on mining in Oneida county.
Oneida County UW-Extension and Oneida County Economic Development Corporation have sponsored the conversations. UW-Extension's Myles Alexander....
"....Our last deliberative public forum is Saturday at 10:30 in the morning in Minocqua at the community building. We're co-hosting it with the Minocqua library. That's an opportunity for about 30-40 minutes of question and answers from members of our advisory panel. And then about an hour of discussion around the table as to what is important to people..."
The agencies have held three other public conversations in Rhinelander, Nokimis, Sugar Camp. Alexander says they've also put together a comprehensive book that is being placed in area libraries. We'll have more on that coming up Monday.
