What started as an attempted traffic stop in Lincoln County led to three stolen cars and an arrest in Southwest Minnesota.
Officers attempted to pull over a man for an equipment violation last Wednesday, but he sped off.
Then the man crashed his vehicle and ran off.
He is suspected of stealing two vehicles, one of which was found in Adams County near where a third vehicle was stolen.
That vehicle, and the suspect, were then found hundreds of miles away near Worthington, Minnesota when Nobles County officers finally arrested him.
He is now facing charges in all three areas.
