People with early stages of memory loss and their partners are invited to attend the opening next month of the Northwood’s Memory Café at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rhinelander.

....it's really just a time for people to come together to have coffee and conversations. Sometimes what we know is people don't get out as much when they start to experience the early stages of memory loss. It's really an opportunity in a nice, safe environment for them to come out and chat with others...."
The Northwood’s Memory Café is in cooperation with Ministry Health Care and the Alzheimer’s Association with financial support from the Northern Wisconsin Memory Diagnostic Center and University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. There is no charge for the Cafe.
Kirby says care partners and family members are welcome to attend. The first Memory Cafe will be Thursday, March 2 from 10:30 a.m.to noon at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 21 West Timber Drive, Rhinelander.
