The Lakeland Union High School Board on Monday accepted the resignation of board member Joe Fahrenbach, with “great appreciation” for his past service.
In his April 17 letter of resignation, Fahrenbach says, “. . . due to the seasonality of my residency, I am no longer eligible to hold a seat on the board. Consequently, I am resigning my seat effective immediately.”
His three-year term expires next year. He represented the Minocqua-Hazelhurst-Lake Tomahawk Elementary School District. Fahrenbach was on the budget, negotiations and ad hoc data committees. He was also the board treasurer. The board is taking applications for his replacement.
