The Rhinelander City Council met in closed session for 90 minutes Monday evening to look at the finalists for City Administrator.
No decision was made in closed session as Mayor Chris Fredrickson reported...
"...From closed session, no action has been taken in closed session. We're continuing to make progress. We hope to have a decision to announce at the next regular council meeting Aug. 13..."
Three finalists have emerged: the former village administrator for Weston, Daniel Guild, Jeff Eder and Stephen Kil. Eder is the City Administrator in East Peoria, Illinois. Kil is the Town Manager of St. John, Indiana.
The city has gone without an administrator since the resignation of Keith Kost several weeks ago.
