Forest County Health Department Facebook

A second person has died due to COVID-19 in Forest County.  In a Facebook post Saturday, the Forest County Health Department said they were deeply saddened to report the death. The health department extended sympathies to all of their family, friends, and loved ones.  No other information was released about the person who died.

As of Saturday, Forest County had registered 28 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began.  24 of those people remain in isolation after testing positive.  Most of the positive cases in Forest County are linked to an outbreak at The Bay at Nu-Roc Health and Rehabilitation Center in Laona.
